Guadalupe, Great White Sharks, Oct 4-8, 2021

Socorro Vortex, October 4 – 8, 2021, Luxury stateroom - $5000, Junior Suite - $5500, Master Suite - $6500 (prices per person, double occupancy) – The Socorro Vortex is a 140-foot former Canadian Coast Guard cutter reconfigured into a luxury liveaboard for only 14-passengers. As white shark photography is best done in small groups, the Socorro Vortex was chosen to maximize in-water time in their three commodious shark cages. Guadalupe is likely the best place on the planet for consistent encounters with great white sharks, up close and in exceedingly clear water. We depart from Ensenada, cruising 165-miles west to Mexico’s Guadalupe Island. With an openwater crossing, the massive steel hull of the Socorro Vortex is comfortable in transit, and stable at anchor with cages deployed. Water temperature is 65-70 degrees.
